Do you have experience of accounting for live events and festivals?
Our client – a fast growing company in the music industry, would like to recruit an experienced accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting and compliance for a range of music festivals, concerts and live events.
Working closely with promoters and other stakeholders, you will be responsible for:
– Cash flow forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis for events
– Day-to-day accounting, including overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable
– Show accounting, expense claims, cash floats and settlements
– Preparing quarterly VAT returns
– Preparing monthly/quarterly management accounts
– Preparing statutory accounts
You’ll be working as part of a friendly team who are expected to support each other. Staff at the company enjoy flexible working and excellent opportunities for progression.
To be considered for this position, you must:
– Have at least 5 years accounting experience in the UK
– Be ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, or close to qualifying
– Have music industry experience
– Communicate well
