Accounting Technician/ Bookkeeper- Dungannon- £35k
Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a highly successful company based in Dungannon. Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Accounting Technician/ Bookkeeper to join their team.
Working within a vibrant, fast paced and growing Finance Team, the successful applicant will be responsible for completing the following duties:
- Manage the Purchase Ledger, including supplier payments and project records.
- Maintain the Sales Ledger, including invoicing, statements and customer correspondence.
- Process and maintain the Nominal Ledger.
- Complete bank, creditor and debtor reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and maintain petty cash records.
- Reconcile company credit card accounts.
- Assisting with monthly management accounts.
- Manage credit control activities.
- Prepare and submit online VAT returns (UK, ROI and Intrastat).
- Prepare and submit HMRC CIS returns.
- Support payroll administration.
- Manage office supplies and general office administration.
- Carry out filing and other administrative duties as required.
Essential Criteria:
- Accounting Technician, Part Qualified Accountant to Qualified-By-Experience Bookkeeper
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage the full accounts function and report directly to the partners.
