About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a highly sociable and growing accountancy practice with a supportive and approachable leadership team.

Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
- Supporting with bookkeeping duties
- Liaising confidently with clients over the phone and by email
- Reporting directly to an experienced Manager
- Managing workloads effectively to meet deadlines
- Building strong client relationships
What we are looking for
The ideal Accounts Assistant will:
- Have previous accounts preparation experience within practice
- Be confident hitting the ground running
- Have excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Possess at least 1 year’s relevant experience
- Be organised, proactive, and team-focused
- Enjoy working within a collaborative and friendly office culture
Desirable:
- 3+ years’ practice experience
- Experience managing multiple client accounts
- ACA/ACCA studies or qualified by experience
