A market leading organisation based near Guildford are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis who will be responsible for managing transactional aspects of finance and supporting the wider finance team. The business pride themselves on the fact that they have low staff turnover and promote employee development and growth:
Key responsibilities:
- Processing payments
- Chasing unpaid invoices and resolving customer queries in a timely and effective manner
- Creating and posting journals
- Support with month-end close
- Invoice creation and submittal for payment including intercompany invoicing
- Bank reconciliations
- Ad hoc projects and tasks when required
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- A proven track record of working in a similar role
- Understanding of debits and credits
- Excellent IT skills including Excel
- Professional with excellent communication skills as building and maintaining internal and external relationships is a key requirement for this role
- Organised and adaptable with the ability to work well under pressure and to strict reporting deadlines
