An exciting and growing SME is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join its finance team in a varied and rewarding role. The role will suit someone with experience across purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, and general accounts administration who is looking to further develop their career within a growing business. Responsibilities will include managing the purchase and sales ledgers, processing supplier invoices and payments, raising customer invoices, supporting credit control activities, reconciling supplier statements, maintaining accurate financial records, processing employee expenses, assisting with bank reconciliations, resolving internal and external finance queries, and supporting the wider finance team with administrative and transactional accounting duties.
Ideally, you will have:
- Strong experience across transactional finance in a fast paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities whilst meeting deadlines and internal targets.
- Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Interest in supporting the improvement of
- Strong experience with Excel and accounting software
