Accounts Assistant
- Location: Slough 8am – 5pm (office based)

- Salary: £30000-£35000
A leading supplier of energy and lighting solutions for the film, television, broadcast, and events industries. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. Day-to-day of the role:
- Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Raise and process customer invoices.
- Manage aged debt queries and undertake credit control activities.
- Review open jobs and ensure financial records are up to date.
- Process BACS payments and issue remittances.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Set up new supplier and customer accounts.
- Assist with month-end finance tasks as required.
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team.
- Undertake other ad hoc duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 1–2 years' experience in a finance or accounts role.
- Able to start within a few weeks
- Good understanding of purchase ledger, sales ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills and confidence when dealing with customers and suppliers.
- Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using accounting software would be advantageous.
