Accounts Assistant

My client is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team in a hands-on, varied role. The successful candidate will support the expanding finance operations as the business is expected to double in size over the next few years.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage sales (debt) and purchase ledgers.
- Process payroll monthly for approximately 6 employees.
- Perform bookkeeping tasks and manage financial data.
- Conduct data analysis and "data crunching".
- Create invoices and manage credit control, including chasing outstanding payments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing sales and purchase ledgers.
- Experience in payroll processing and bookkeeping.
- Strong skills in data analysis and financial data management.
- Proficient in creating invoices and conducting credit control.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a growing business environment.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of £30,000 – £33,000.
- Stable working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.
