Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant:
- Ownership of the finance inbox.
- Posting banking journals daily across multiple accounts (GBP, USD, Euros & AUD).
- Assisting with preparing monthly VAT returns.
- Reviewing purchase invoices on the accounting system (Purchase Order matching, approvals, brand coding and cost allocation).
- Preparation of the weekly supplier pay runs
- Payroll administration
Other month end duties of the Accounts Assistant:
- Reconciling and prepare monthly banking reports.
- Preparing bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Preparing monthly supplier statement reconciliations.
- Preparing monthly aged receivables report.
- Reconciling and posting intercompany transactions.
- Raising commission and recharge invoices.
Key Skills and Experience:
- AAT or equivalent.
- Experience working with SAP would be an advantage
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
