Platinum Recruitment Group
Accounts Assistant + Study
Dukinfield
£30,000 – £325,000
Want genuine exposure to management accounts – not just a promise of it?
You’ll take ownership of the transactional finance and keep month-end in tip top shape. But the real value of this role is what happens next.
As soon as your transactional work is completed each month, you’ll step straight into the management accounts process with the Financial Controller; so if this takes you one week, that means 3 weeks a month to join the management accounts – so you're in the driving seat!
No being kept at arm’s length. No waiting for “one day.” You’ll be in it from the start.
This isn’t sink or swim. It’s structured exposure, hands-on support, and the chance to develop at a pace that's actually manageable & allows you to deliver!
So, to be considered, you need to have mastered transactional accounting, actually like being involved from grass-roots level but now want the chance to fly in your role – with guidance and direction from the SLT.
This is a genuinely down-to-earth business where you'll work with everyone from the factory floor to the two Directors. Everyone is approachable, and there's no hierarchy for hierarchy's sake – it's the opposite of a corporate environment where you're just another face.
**You must be happy working from the Dukinfield office 5 days a week**
