My client, a Top 40 UK firm of Chartered Accountants, is seeking an Accounts Manager to join their growing team.
This role offers a varied mix of accounts, VAT, and tax work, alongside managing a client portfolio and supporting junior staff development.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of clients and act as a main point of contact
• Prepare and review year-end accounts
• Oversee VAT returns and tax compliance (personal & corporate)
• Review junior staff work and provide training/support
• Assist with workflow management and deadlines
Requirements
• 3+ years’ experience in an accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of accounts, VAT, and tax
• Experience reviewing work and mentoring staff
• ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified (desirable)
• Strong organisational and communication skills
