About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a growing construction consultancy, working on a prestigious, high-end client project.
This is a key, standalone role with full ownership of the accounts payable function. The initial assignment will be on a major 3-year project, with excellent long-term prospects. Following completion, you will have the opportunity to move onto other projects or progress into a more senior finance role within the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of the end-to-end accounts payable process
- Receiving and processing supplier invoices
- Reviewing invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Checking invoices against cashflow forecasts
- Logging and maintaining invoice records within spreadsheets or finance systems
- Supporting purchase order processes and payment runs
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve queries
- Managing approximately 100 invoices per month with a high degree of accuracy
- Ensuring timely and efficient processing of all payments
About You
- Proven experience operating at Accounts Payable Manager level or similar senior capacity
- Comfortable working independently in a standalone role
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Efficient, proactive, and able to manage workloads with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience
- Experience within construction or project-based environments is advantageous
