Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the Accounts Payable function for a prestigious luxury retail brand, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier payments while supporting the wider finance team.

Working closely with finance, buying, merchandising, and operational teams, you will play a key role in maintaining strong supplier relationships and delivering an efficient AP service within a fast-paced retail environment.

This is a full-time, ongoing temporary position with a hybrid working model of three days in the office and two days from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day Accounts Payable ledger.
• Process supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding and approvals.
• Prepare and process weekly payment runs.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve payment queries.
• Process employee expenses and bank transactions.
• Support month-end, year-end, and audit requirements.
• Provide Accounts Receivable cover when required.
• Assist with ad hoc finance projects and process improvements.

Skills & Experience

• 2-3 years' experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
• Previous experience within luxury retail, fashion, or a fast-paced commercial environment is advantageous.
• Studying towards AAT, ACCA, or CIMA is desirable.
• Experience with Sage or similar finance systems.
• Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
