Accounts Receivable Officer
Full Time – 35 Hours

6-12 Months Contract
Starting from £34,400 per Annum
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivables Officer to join a fast-paced finance team within a leading housing association. This role will focus on bank and suspense account reconciliations, supporting accounts receivable processing, and ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions across multiple bank accounts. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and wider finance teams, helping to maintain strong financial controls while meeting key deadlines and service standards. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team environment, playing a vital role in supporting essential housing services within a socially driven organisation.
Accounts Receivable Officer General Responsibilities:
- Bank reconciliation, suspense account reconciliation and other ad hoc duties relating to Bank Reconciliation & Accounts Receivable
- Build good, collaborative relationships with finance team colleagues as well as stakeholders in the wider business
- Being a part of the team, you will know what your responsibilities are, and how they contribute to our overall team success
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 2 years experience with Bank Reconciliation
- Experience dealing with high volume of processes
- Strong organisational skills
- A focus on detail and delivering work to the highest standard of accuracy
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Ability to manage workload to tight deadlines
- Great communication skills, data analysis skills are advantageous and or stakeholder management skills etc
