A dynamic and progressive firm of accountants is seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant to become a valued member of their expanding team. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare yearly financial reports (in accordance with FRS 102 Section 1A and FRS 105), interim accounts, and VAT returns
- Assist with computations for both corporation and personal tax obligations
- Produce relevant schedules and perform balance sheet account reconciliations
- Oversee CIS filings, payroll duties, and pension scheme payments
- Communicate with clients via online platforms (including Xero, QuickBooks, and Dext)
- Deliver advisory input including budgeting and financial forecasting
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with small business clients
- Remain up to date with current UK taxation and accounting rules
Who We’re Looking For:
- AAT certified or part-qualified/recently qualified ACA/ACCA
- Between 2–3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
- Personable, with strong communication skills and a service-driven mindset
- Proficient in the use of digital accountancy systems (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks)
- Able to work on own initiative and take responsibility
- A valid driving licence is essential due to the office’s location
