Job Purpose:
- This large Top 20 accountancy firm based in a prime location in Central London is looking for a new member of staff to join their busy and growing accountancy and business services department.
- The aim is to provide first class accountancy services to a wide range of clients, including both large and international clients and entrepreneurial SME’s from a wide range of sectors including retail, technology, media and entertainment, renewable energy, financial services and many others.

Responsibilities:
- Your role will be varied and include the preparation of both FRS 102 and 105 statutory accounts, assisting prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts (training will be provided if you don’t have experience of this), VAT returns, bookkeeping assignments (bank reconciliations, journal entries, sales and purchase ledger, making payments etc), corporation tax returns and being trained on other areas of accountancy where necessary.
Requirements:
- At least 1 to 2 years experience in a good quality accountancy firm.
- Experience of preparing statutory accounts, basic corporation tax returns, VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments is required.
- Completed the AAT qualification and / or in the early stages of the ACA or ACCA.
- Experience of cloud based software packages.
- A desire to learn, progress and do well in a large Top 20 accountancy firm.
