Trial Balance are working with a well-established and growing accountancy practice in Holsworthy, who are seeking an Accounts Senior to join their friendly and collaborative team. The firm offers a supportive environment where employees are encouraged to develop and progress.
This is a varied role offering exposure to a diverse client portfolio, alongside the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as your experience grows.
The role as Accounts Senior will include:
– Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
– Preparing tax computations and tax returns
– Reviewing VAT returns completed by junior members of the team
– Supporting clients with their day-to-day accounting and compliance requirements
– Building and maintaining strong client relationships
– Working closely with colleagues to deliver a high-quality and personalised service
– Assisting with a range of ad-hoc accounting assignments as required
We're looking for:
An experienced practice accountant with a solid background in accounts preparation and client-facing work. AAT qualifications would be advantageous, although applications are equally welcomed from candidates who are qualified by experience.
Experience using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks is essential, alongside strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail. You'll also be an organised and pro-active individual who enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
