Ad Hoc Cover Support Worker
Bristol
£14.00-£15.00 per hour + Holiday Pay
Ad Hoc / Flexible Shifts
Various Shifts Available (Days, Evenings, Nights & Weekends)
We are currently recruiting for experienced Support Workers, Project Workers, Recovery Workers, and Housing Support Workers to cover ad hoc shifts across a range of supported housing, homelessness, mental health, and substance misuse services in Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for flexible work while making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable adults.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing person-centred support to service users
Supporting clients with independent living skills and tenancy sustainment
Completing support plans, risk assessments, and case notes
Safeguarding vulnerable adults and promoting wellbeing
Managing challenging behaviours and responding to incidents appropriately
Liaising with external agencies and support services
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring service compliance
Requirements:
Previous experience within supported housing, homelessness, mental health, substance misuse, or social care settings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred) or willingness to obtain one
Flexibility to work various shifts at short notice
