Team Leader
- Hourly Rate: £16 Paye / £19 Umbrella – per hour

- Job Type: Temporary Contract (2 Months)
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Team Leader to oversee day-to-day operations and support a busy team in the Chessington area. This 2-month temporary assignment is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can motivate others, and leads by example to achieve operational targets.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team to achieve daily targets and KPIs.
- Allocate workloads and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Monitor performance and provide on-the-spot coaching and feedback.
- Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Support with training and onboarding of new starters.
- Handle team queries, issues, and escalation points professionally.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, or system updates as required.
- Liaise with management to ensure smooth operational flow.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Team Leader / Supervisor role.
- Strong people management and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Highly organised with good attention to detail.
- Confident decision-maker with a proactive approach.
- Good basic IT skills (e.g., Excel, internal systems).
Preferred (Nice to Have):
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, retail, or operational environments.
- Knowledge of performance metrics or KPI tracking.
- Experience managing shift-based teams.
