Our client is seeking a dedicated Administrator to work 30 hours per week across five days (Monday to Friday). A minimum of 6 hours per day during standard business hours is required.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administrative and organisational skills to support the smooth and efficient running of daily operations. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a busy environment, managing multiple tasks, and communicating effectively.
This is a part-time, pro-rata position, well suited to someone looking for consistent weekday hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across multiple internal functions to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
- Complete data entry tasks accurately using standard office software
- Handle incoming calls professionally with strong telephone etiquette
- Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and calendar management
- Prepare, organise, and maintain documents, reports, and correspondence
- Maintain well-structured electronic and paper filing systems
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve processes and workflows
Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role is desirable
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in common office applications (e.g. word processing and spreadsheets)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- High level of accuracy in data entry and administrative tasks
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Prior clerical experience is advantageous but not essential
