Our Client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking an Adult’s Social Worker to join their Neighbourhood Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
- Assess the care and support needs of adults and carers and plan with them to meet those needs.
- Carry out mental capacity assessments and lead Best Interest decisions when needed.
- Support adults who lack capacity by applying to the Court of Protection for care authorisations.
- Manage a caseload, including adults at risk of harm or neglect.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to complete assessments.
- Collaborate with health professionals, social services, and partner agencies.
- Keep accurate records and manage your workload efficiently, including providing data when needed.
- Advocate for adults to help resolve conflicts and ensure their voices are heard.
- Contribute to projects and working groups to improve services.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
