After School Club Assistant – Preston City Centre
Location: Preston
Pay Rate: £14.24 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-6:00pm
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Long-Term Position
We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and caring After School Club Assistant to join our team from September on a long-term basis in Preston city centre.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to play a positive role in providing a safe, engaging, and fun after-school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and supporting children during after-school activities
- Assisting with games, crafts, sports, and educational activities
- Ensuring the safety and well being of all children in your care
- Helping to prepare and tidy activity areas
- Promoting positive behaviour and inclusion
Requirements:
- Experience working with children is desirable
- A friendly, patient, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
