Aftersales Manager
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire
Salary: £45,000 – £60,000 OTE

Overview
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Aftersales Manager to lead the service and parts departments of a busy automotive dealership in Basingstoke. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving profitability, delivering exceptional customer service, managing departmental performance, and ensuring operational excellence across all aftersales functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the Service and Parts departments.
- Lead, motivate, and develop Service Advisors, Technicians, Workshop Controllers, and Parts personnel.
- Drive departmental profitability through effective labour sales, parts sales, and workshop efficiency.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including customer satisfaction, retention, productivity, and revenue.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and departmental reporting.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase aftersales revenue and customer loyalty.
- Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as an Aftersales Manager, Service Manager, or Senior Automotive Management professional.
- Proven track record of managing service and parts operations within a dealership environment.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to drive profitability and performance.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience with franchised automotive dealerships.
- Knowledge of manufacturer operating standards and processes.
- Experience using dealership management systems (DMS).
- Relevant management or automotive qualifications.
