Overview

167 Solutions Ltd are recruiting for an AI Architect / Solution Architect on behalf of an enterprise client delivering large-scale AI transformation programmes.

This is a high-impact contract role for a seasoned architect who can operate across both strategic and hands-on dimensions — defining AI solution architecture at enterprise scale while driving prototypes through to production. You will work at the intersection of Generative AI, cloud infrastructure, and data science, translating complex business requirements into robust, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of AI and ML solutions across enterprise environments
• Define solution architecture for Generative AI applications, including LLMs, chatbots, and intelligent automation
• Prototype, validate, and scale AI capabilities from proof-of-concept through to production deployment
• Work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align architecture with business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and governance across AI work streams and delivery teams
• Drive best practice in AI engineering, model management, and data science operations
• Evaluate and select appropriate AI frameworks, tools, and cloud services to meet enterprise requirements
• Support the integration of AI solutions with existing enterprise data platforms and CRM systems

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience delivering AI solutions at enterprise scale in production environments
• Strong background in Generative AI — including LLMs, prompt engineering, and model fine-tuning
• Hands-on experience with Hugging Face (model hub, Transformers, Inference API)
• Experience with AWS AI services (SageMaker, Bedrock, Rekognition, Comprehend, or equivalent)
• Track record of building and deploying intelligent chatbot or conversational AI solutions
• Solid grounding in Data Science — including model development, feature engineering, and evaluation
• Ability to lead prototyping cycles and translate findings into scalable production architecture
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills at senior and C-suite level
• Comfortable operating in complex, enterprise environments with multiple work streams

Desirable

• AWS certification (e.g. AWS Certified Machine Learning Speciality, Solutions Architect Professional) or deep AWS platform experience
• Experience working in or alongside SAP environments (SAP BTP, SAP AI Core, or AI integration with SAP data)
