I'm working with a leading financial services organisation that is looking to hire an experiencedAI Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team on a contract basis. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI initiatives, developing production-grade solutions that leverage the latest advancements in large language models, agentic AI and intelligent automation.
You'll be involved in:
- Designing and building AI-powered applications using modern LLMs
- Developing agentic workflows and multi-step AI pipelines
- Building RAG solutions and integrating enterprise data sources
- Working closely with engineers and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions that solve real-world problems
- Contributing to the evolution of AI engineering best practices within a collaborative development team
We're looking for experience with:
- Strong Python development
- LLMs (OpenAI, Claude or similar)
- LangChain, LangGraph or similar orchestration frameworks
- Agentic AI and autonomous workflows
- RAG architectures and vector databases
- Azure AI services (or equivalent cloud AI platforms)
- Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD experience would be beneficial
Previous experience delivering enterprise AI solutions within financial services would be advantageous, although candidates from other complex engineering environments are also encouraged to apply.
