Compressed Air Service Engineer / Fitter
Location: Field-Based Across the Island of Ireland
Salary: £32,000 – £44,000 (DOE)

About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Compressed Air Service Engineer / Fitter to join a growing engineering team providing installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of compressed air systems across the island of Ireland.
This is a field-based role suited to candidates with strong mechanical engineering experience. Applicants with backgrounds in diesel engines are encouraged to apply, as full product training will be provided where required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of compressed air equipment while delivering high levels of customer service and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair and maintain compressed air systems and associated equipment.
- Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and breakdown repairs.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Install and commission new equipment on customer sites.
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Manage stock levels and equipment within the company vehicle.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a mechanical engineering, fitting or maintenance role.
- Experience working on diesel engines, plant machinery, HGVs, agricultural equipment, generators, compressors or similar mechanical systems is highly desirable.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a field-based workload.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK or Irish driving licence.
- Basic electrical fault-finding experience would be advantageous but is not essential
Location Requirement
Due to the nature of the role and service coverage requirements, applicants should ideally be based within approximately 1.5 hours of Antrim, allowing efficient travel across the island of Ireland.
