We're working with a fast-moving, product-led business looking for an Analytics Engineer to support their data team on an initial 6-month contract.
This is a hands-on role sitting between data engineering and analytics – building clean, reliable data models that power reporting and decision-making across the business.
You'll be working closely with BI and engineering teams, owning dbt models end-to-end and helping improve data quality, performance, and overall usability.
What you'll be doing:
- Building and maintaining dbt models for analytics and reporting
- Developing well-structured data models (staging marts)
- Working with stakeholders to turn business requirements into scalable datasets
- Improving data quality, testing, and documentation
- Optimising performance across a modern cloud warehouse
What they're looking for:
- Strong dbt + SQL experience in production environments
- Experience working with BigQuery or Snowflake
- Solid understanding of data modelling / warehousing concepts
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Contract:
- Outside IR35
- 6 month contract
- twice a week in central London
- £500-£520 per day
Nice to have: exposure to BI tools (Tableau etc.), Python, or marketing data.
