Salary: £38-44,000

A respected, employee-owned architectural practice is looking to recruit an Architect for its Manchester studio.

The successful candidate will join a £20m education project currently at RIBA Stage 3. The scheme includes teaching spaces, workshops, flexible learning environments, and an auditorium, offering the opportunity to work on a technically challenging and impactful development.

This position is well suited to an experienced Architect who can take ownership of project packages, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and support delivery through the next stages of design and construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the design and technical delivery of a major training and education project
  • Coordinate external consultants and maintain effective stakeholder communication
  • Produce and review detailed technical information and construction documentation
  • Contribute to project delivery across RIBA Stages 3-5
  • Monitor design quality, project deadlines, and technical compliance
  • Work closely with colleagues across the wider project team to ensure successful delivery

Requirements

  • ARB-registered Architect
  • Previous experience delivering commercial, workplace, or education-related projects
  • Ability to independently manage project responsibilities and lead key work packages
  • Strong technical knowledge and coordination skills
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities
