Production Line Leader
Rotherham
Permanent Night Shift: Monday-Friday, 10pm-6am
Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to once again be exclusively supporting Barcel Snacks UK in their search for a Permanent Night Shift Line Leader to join their Taki's facility in Rotherham
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated team leader or production supervisor who enjoys leading people, driving performance and maintaining high standards across safety, quality and productivity.
Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will lead a team of production associates within either the process or packing area, ensuring operations run safely, efficiently and to the highest food manufacturing standards.
Key responsibilities of the Line Leader include:
- Leading and motivating production teams to achieve daily output targets
- Ensuring high standards of health & safety, food safety and GMP across the production area
- Monitoring production performance using KPIs and driving improvements where needed
- Ensuring production processes and documentation are completed accurately
- Managing staffing levels and supporting the effective use of agency labour
- Coaching and developing team members to improve performance and capability
- Supporting performance reviews and people management processes
- Working closely with engineering teams to respond to breakdowns and maintenance requirements
- Supporting audits, innovation trials and site visits
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have supervisory or team leader experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment, with the below skills & experience:
- Experience as a Team Leader, Line Leader, or Production Supervisor
- Previous experience working in food manufacturing or FMCG
- Strong people leadership and motivation skills
- Good organisational and communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment
- Basic IT and systems skills
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement
