We are currently recruiting for a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Rugby area from September.This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who can inspire students through engaging art lessons while maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour.
The Role
As an Art Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Foster creativity and confidence within the classroom.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and classroom behaviour.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and department.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
- Previous UK secondary teaching experience is required.
- Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A positive, proactive, and can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
