Our client is a leading asbestos contractor based in Sittingbourne, is on the lookout for an experienced Asbestos Operative to join their growing team. They work across a wide portfolio of clients, including private residential and commercial sectors, as well as local authorities, schools, hospitals, and other civic buildings. .
The Role: You will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all works are carried out on time, within budget, and in full compliance with health and safety regulations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on role and is ready to take the next step in their asbestos career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee asbestos-related projects across the Medway and wider Kent area
- Conduct and manage asbestos surveys, removals and collections
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety and asbestos legislation
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and safe project delivery
Requirements:
- Proven background in asbestos management, removal, and collection
- Sound understanding of asbestos survey procedures
- Excellent knowledge of legislation and health and safety compliance
- UK Driving Licence is essential
- Valid and relevant asbestos certificates required
- Ideally holds P402 or RSPH qualification
