Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor Location: Basildon
Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an established asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team in Basildon.

THE ROLE
As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out asbestos surveys across a diverse range of client sites while ensuring full compliance with current legislation and industry guidance.
Working independently with the support of an experienced operations team, you will deliver accurate survey work and maintain the high technical standards the consultancy is known for.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Undertaking Management, Refurbishment & Demolition asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264 * Identifying and assessing asbestos-containing materials across a variety of property types * Producing accurate, compliant, and well-presented asbestos survey reports * Managing workloads and project deadlines effectively * Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal colleagues * Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation, HSE guidance, and industry best practice * Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality assurance
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent) * Demonstrable experience as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS-accredited consultancy * Strong understanding of asbestos legislation and compliance requirements * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Professional, organised, and reliable approach to work * Full UK driving licence
WHAT'S ON OFFER
