ASD TA Opportunity – Reading
Location: Reading
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £85 – £105 per day
A welcoming and inclusive school in Reading is seeking a dedicated and compassionate ASD TA to join their team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with autism and helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.
The successful ASD TA will work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ensuring they can access learning in a structured, supportive, and nurturing environment.
This role offers the chance to make a real difference in pupils' daily school experience while developing your skills within a supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted classroom and 1:1 support as an ASD TA
- Support pupils with autism to access learning activities
- Implement tailored learning and behaviour support strategies
- Work collaboratively with teachers and the SENCO as an ASD TA
- Encourage independence, confidence, and emotional regulation
