Assistant Accountant
A well-established business is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their Finance team. This is a key role that will support the day-to-day running of the finance function to include month end and reporting.
The successful candidate will enjoy a broad range of responsibilities and will play an important role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining strong financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting month-end processes including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with cashflow forecasting and capital expenditure reconciliations
- Producing regular internal financial reports
- Bank reconciliations
- Supporting the external audit process and responding to audit queries
- Supporting the wider Finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Strong month end experience
- Strong Excel for producing reports
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills and working effectively with all areas of the business
