We are now working with a prestigious, highly respected investment fund. They operate a multi strategy approach and have a strong international presence.
They are now looking to recruit an Assistant Fund Manager to their London team.
The role will sit within their global equities division.
In this role, you will join several very experienced portfolio managers, managing a global long only fund. On a day to day basis, you can expect to carry out stock analysis and identification, writing pieces of equity research on potential investments and making recommendations to the senior PMs on these stocks. You will also assist with portfolio management.
The position will involve full involvement in the decision making process and you will be integral in the team.
The role is a junior position in the fund and will mainly focus on equity research at the start.
The successful candidate will probably work as an equity analyst at another asset manager, and looking to broaden their role from pure stock picking into more of a PM role. They will also consider a very good sell side equity analyst as well.
