Preston Park Primary School is seeking an exceptional, innovative and ambitious Assistant Headteacher to join our dedicated leadership team. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the school, supporting staff development, and promoting outstanding outcomes for all pupils. We are looking for an inspirational practitioner with successful leadership experience, a strong commitment to safeguarding and pastoral care, and the ability to motivate and develop others. Flexibility is essential, as year group responsibilities may vary according to the needs of the school.

The Person:
We are looking for an individual who can share the founding vision and ethos for Preston Park, (please visit the school and look on the school’s website).
The successful candidate will be:
- Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of working as an Assistant Headteacher within EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
- A team player with energy, stamina and lots of creativity and fresh ideas.
- A Qualified Teacher with QTS Status and substantial teaching experience in at least two settings.
- Able to demonstrate previous successful teaching experience: modelling excellence in teaching and learning.
- Able to demonstrate your experience in giving effective and efficient feedback to move learning on including monitoring, evaluating and improving the quality of teaching and learning
- Able to demonstrate Successful leadership experience as a middle or senior leader with a proven track record of improving pupil outcomes
- Able to share the founding vision and ethos for Preston Park, (please visit the school and look on the school’s website).
- Excited by the chance to contribute to Preston Park Primary and driven to do what it takes to succeed.
- Skilled to effectively support children for whom English is a second language.
