You'll be joining a collaborative environment where your development is prioritised – study support is available and you will be fully encouraged to progress through to completion. You'll gain hands-on experience across core accounting functions. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys getting stuck in and wants to build on their experience as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with monthly management accounts preparation
- Supporting month-end close processes and reconciliations
- Posting journals including accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of variances
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
- Assisting with financial reporting and analysis
- Working closely with senior stakeholders and non-finance teams
- Supporting audits and compliance requirements
- Identifying process improvements and efficiencies
What We're Looking For
- Part-qualified or currently studying (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in a similar Assistant Management Accountant role or transferrable finance role
- Strong Excel skills
- Good communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Ambitious and keen to progress within a growing business
