We are partnering with a luxury retail brand to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team in the City of London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional looking to develop their management accounting experience within a fast-paced and growing business.
Key Duties: – Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts – Supporting month-end processes, including journals, accruals, and prepayments – Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances – Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting – Producing analysis and reports for key stakeholders – Supporting VAT returns, audits, and statutory requirements – Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance function
Core Experience & Skills: – Previous experience in an Assistant Management Accountant, Assistant Accountant, or similar finance role – Experience within retail, fashion, luxury goods, e-commerce, or a fast-paced commercial environment – Studying towards ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualifications – Strong understanding of month-end processes and reconciliations – Good Excel skills – Strong attention to detail and analytical skills – Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively within a team
