Assistant Resident Services Manager
We're working with a leading residential property organisation to recruit an Assistant Resident Services Manager for one of its premium Build-to-Rent developments in Birmingham.

Working closely with the Senior Resident Services Manager, you'll help deliver an exceptional resident experience, support the onsite team and ensure the day-to-day operation of the building runs smoothly.

The role
As Assistant Resident Services Manager, you'll support the operational management of a busy residential development, ensuring residents receive a positive experience from move-in through to move-out.
Working hours are on a rota of either 8:00am-5:00pm or 11:00am-8:00pm, with one Saturday in every two required.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the delivery of a first-class resident experience across the development.
- Managing resident enquiries and resolving escalated issues where required.
- Coordinating resident move-ins and move-outs to ensure a seamless process.
- Carrying out property inspections and resident visits.
- Supporting the management of the onsite team rota.
- Liaising with contractors and monitoring maintenance works to ensure high standards are achieved.
- Assisting with void management and operational expenditure.
- Supporting the delivery of resident events and community initiatives.
- Producing operational reports and supporting the Senior Resident Services Manager with day-to-day site management.
The skills needed
To be successful as an Assistant Resident Services Manager, you'll bring:
- Working knowledge of residential property management, Build-to-Rent or Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA).
- Experience delivering exceptional customer service within a residential, hospitality or service-led environment.
- Experience supporting or leading a team.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to prioritise a varied workload and work collaboratively with colleagues.
- An awareness of health and safety requirements within a residential environment.
- Confidence working with contractors and external stakeholders.
Qualifications in property or customer service would be advantageous but are not essential.
