We are partnering with a leading pensions consultancy looking to hire an Associate Risk Transfer Consultant to join its growing risk transfer team. This is an excellent opportunity for a nearly or recently qualified actuary looking to build expertise in the thriving bulk annuity and pension risk transfer market.
This is a client-focused role where you will:
- Support pension schemes through their journey to buy-in, buy-out and wind-up
- Manage the delivery of risk transfer and bulk annuity projects
- Review actuarial calculations and insurer quotations
- Prepare client reports, presentations and communications
- Work closely with trustees, sponsoring employers and insurers
- Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team development
About You
- Nearly or recently qualified actuary
- Experience in UK pensions and risk transfer or bulk annuity transactions
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
- Able to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively across teams
