We are looking for an experienced and motivated Audio Visual Project Manager to join our growing team in Reading. This is an exciting opportunity to manage the successful delivery of a wide range of commercial AV integration projects, from initial planning through to completion.
You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining excellent relationships with clients, suppliers, and installation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple audio visual projects from award through to handover.
- Plan, schedule and coordinate project activities to ensure successful delivery.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and internal departments throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce and maintain project documentation, programmes and reports.
- Manage project budgets, procurement and financial performance.
- Coordinate installation engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues efficiently.
- Conduct site meetings and progress reviews.
- Ensure projects comply with health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Support commissioning, client training and final project handover.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience managing commercial audio visual integration projects.
- Strong understanding of AV technologies including:
- Video conferencing systems
- LED displays and video walls
- Digital signage
- Audio systems
- Control systems
- Collaboration technologies
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience managing project budgets and schedules.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Skills
- AVIXA CTS or CTS-D certification.
- PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent project management qualification.
- Experience working with Microsoft Project or similar project planning software.
- Knowledge of construction site procedures and CDM regulations.
