A well-established firm of Chartered Accountants in Hertfordshire is looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Manager or Assistant Manager. This is due to ongoing growth, and you will be taking over clients from several of the existing partners’ portfolios.
With around 40 staff, the firm acts for a broad range of SMEs, owner-managed businesses and growing corporate groups, with clients ranging from start-ups through to businesses with turnovers in excess of £100 million. The role is split across audit, accounts and tax.
The Role
- Managing a portfolio of clients being the main point of contact
- Lead statutory and voluntary audits from planning through to completion
- Producing statutory accounts and providing general advice or accounts and tax
- Managing and mentor junior team members
- Deliver assignments within agreed deadlines and budgets
The Successful Candidate
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong UK practice public practice experience.
- Experience leading audits from planning through to completion.
- Previous experience managing/supervising and reviewing junior staff.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive and professional approach.
