Audit & Accounts Senior – £40k-£50k – Borehamwood – Hybrid
Intro
A well-established and growing accountancy practice based in Borehamwood is looking to recruit an Audit & Accounts Senior to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified ACA / ACCA professional seeking a varied role within a supportive and professional environment.
The firm works with a broad range of SME and owner-managed business clients across multiple sectors and offers strong long-term progression opportunities. Following successful completion of probation, the role will offer hybrid working with 2 days per week working from home.
The Role
This is a mixed audit and accounts position with responsibilities including:
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients
- Assisting managers and partners with client work and ad hoc projects
- Reviewing and supporting junior staff where required
- Liaising directly with clients and maintaining strong relationships
- Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines
- Supporting both audit and accounts compliance work across the portfolio
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
- Experience in both audit and accounts preparation
- ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified status
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive and professional approach
- The ability to manage workloads and work effectively within a team
