The successful Audit Assistant Manager will lead audits for small to large clients, prepare statutory accounts, supervise junior staff, and ensure compliance with relevant standards. You'll work closely with partners and clients, developing technical expertise while supporting the growth and quality standards of the firm.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Planning, executing, and finalising audit assignments
* Leading, coaching, and reviewing the work of junior team members
* Preparing statutory accounts and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Identifying risk areas and ensuring high-quality reporting
* Managing multiple workloads and meeting deadlines
Profile
A successful Audit Assistant Manager should have:
* ACA/ACCA qualification (or close to completion)
* 4-5 years' practical experience in audit within a practice environment
* Strong understanding of audit procedures and financial reporting standards
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to lead teams, manage workloads, and communicate confidently with clients
* Proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills
