Audit & Accounts Semi-Senior – South West London
Top-100 Firm | Relaxed Culture | Proper All-Round Exposure
This is a great role for someone who enjoys audit and accounts but doesn't want the big-firm grind that often comes with it.
The firm is a Top-100 practice with a super relaxed, down-to-earth culture and a genuinely close-knit team. People know each other, help each other, and get the work done during working hours. Busy, yes – but sensible and human.
The role
As a Semi-Senior, you'll get proper hands-on experience across:
-
Audit and accounts work for SMEs and owner-managed businesses
-
Assisting on audits from planning through to completion
-
Accounts preparation and exposure to year-end processes
-
Direct interaction with clients early on
-
Potential exposure to valuations work, depending on workload and interest
It's a broad role designed to make you a well-rounded accountant, not a narrow specialist too early.
Development & study support
The firm takes training seriously and offers strong ACA or ACCA study support, with the expectation that people qualify and progress internally.
You'll benefit from:
-
Supportive managers who actually have time to help
-
Clear progression without unnecessary pressure
-
Variety of work rather than repetitive jobs
-
A learning environment where questions are encouraged
What they're looking for
-
Some audit and/or accounts experience in UK practice
-
Studying ACA or ACCA (or planning to start)
-
A solid work ethic and a down-to-earth attitude
-
Someone who wants to learn and be part of a team
Why this firm?
-
Top-100 name without the corporate feel
-
Friendly, relaxed, close-knit team environment
-
Broad SME and OMB client exposure
-
Real support through exams and beyond
If you want a balanced role with good training, decent people, and a life outside work, this is a very safe and sensible move.
