Reed Practice is delighted to be working with a highly regarded, independent chartered accountancy firm in the Colchester area only approx. 30 mins from Ipswich. With decades of success across East Anglia and a strong UK-wide client base, this firm combines local expertise with the benefits of being part of a collaborative professional network, giving you access to technical support and ongoing development.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join their expanding team.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll gain exposure to a varied and rewarding workload, including:

  • Preparing statutory accounts for a diverse portfolio (limited companies, partnerships, LLPs)
  • Assisting with or preparing self-assessment tax returns
  • Supporting with corporation tax returns
  • Working closely with clients and building strong professional relationships
  • Collaborating directly with senior leadership, giving you excellent mentorship and development opportunities

About You

  • Currently working within practice in an audit-led role
  • Some accounts experience is essential
  • AAT qualified (or equivalent) and looking to start ACCA/ACA, or already studying
  • Eager to broaden your skillset and progress your career in a supportive environment
