Key Responsibilities
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion across a varied client portfolio
- Preparing and reviewing audit files, ensuring work meets the highest technical standards
- Supervising and coaching junior members of the audit team on assignments
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process
- Communicating audit findings and recommendations clearly to managers and partners
- Keeping up to date with developments in UK auditing standards and financial reporting
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to qualification, with a strong audit background
- At least three years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
- Proven experience leading audit assignments and supervising junior team members effectively
- Strong technical knowledge of UK auditing standards and financial reporting frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a confident client-facing manner
- Well organised with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously
