In this role, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of audit assignments, working across a broad range of clients spanning multiple sectors. You will lead fieldwork, supervise and mentor more junior members of the team, and liaise directly with clients to deliver a high-quality service. The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, or close to qualification, with a solid foundation in audit and a genuine passion for delivering excellent client service. Key Responsibilities
- Planning, executing, and completing audit assignments across a diverse client portfolio spanning multiple sectors
- Supervising, coaching, and reviewing the work of junior team members to maintain quality and support their development
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards
- Identifying and reporting on control weaknesses and business risks, providing practical recommendations to clients
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or working towards final stages of qualification
- Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of audit methodology, UK GAAP, and FRS 102
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients and colleagues at all levels
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising on quality
