A leading Top 20 accountancy firm is looking to recruit an Audit Senior to join its growing, technology-driven audit team. This is a great opportunity to work with a varied client base while mentoring junior staff and contributing to high-quality audit delivery.
The Role
- Lead statutory audits from planning to completion
- Act as a key client contact and manage on-site audit teams
- Review junior work and provide coaching and support
- Work closely with managers and partners
- Use modern audit software to drive efficiency
- Travel to client sites across the North East & Yorkshire
The Candidate
Essential:
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Strong audit experience within practice
- Experience with leading Audits under minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented and client-focused
Desirable:
- Sage, Xero or QuickBooks experience
- Exposure to sectors such as charities or academies
- Experience with Iris, Caseware or MyWorkPapers
