The Audit Senior position sits within a busy and collaborative team, working across a varied portfolio of clients spanning a range of sectors and sizes. You will play a key role in leading audit assignments from planning through to completion, while building strong relationships with clients and mentoring junior members of the team. Key Responsibilities
- Leading audit assignments from planning to completion, ensuring high quality and technical accuracy throughout
- Managing and reviewing the work of junior team members, providing constructive feedback and on the job coaching
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key day to day point of contact
- Contributing to the overall development of the audit department and supporting managers and partners as required
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and FRS 102
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or finalist level with significant audit experience
- Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and auditing standards
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships confidently
- Motivated, organised, and capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously
