About the Role

Are you an experienced automotive professional with a background in field sales and a passion for meeting customers face-to-face? Do you enjoy demonstrating products, building relationships, and closing deals in person?

At Spidersnet, we’re looking for a driven and ambitious Automotive Field Sales Consultant to join our team and help grow our subscription portfolio of over 1,000 customers across the UK.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the automotive industry and thrives in a customer-facing, on-the-road sales environment.

The Role

As an Automotive Field Sales Consultant, you’ll play a key role in driving our business forward. You’ll be responsible for identifying and securing new clients, understanding their needs, and delivering face-to-face demonstrations of our solutions to show how Spidersnet can support their business growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Generating new business through prospecting, networking, and cold-calling
  • Managing your own diary and sales strategy, working both remotely and in the field
  • Attending face-to-face meetings and on-site visits with automotive businesses
  • Delivering engaging product demonstrations to potential customers
  • Identifying client needs and aligning them with our product offering
  • Building strong, long-term relationships within the automotive sector
  • Meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets

What We’re Looking For…

We’re looking for a confident, consultative sales professional with hands-on automotive industry experience and a strong track record in field-based sales.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience within the automotive industry (e.g. dealerships, automotive services, or suppliers)
  • Proven field sales experience, including face-to-face meetings and closing deals
  • Experience delivering product demos or presentations in person
  • Strong communication skills, with the confidence to engage at all levels, including business owners and directors
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own time and pipeline
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning digital products
  • Resilient, driven, and target-focused
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
